Melville, NY – J. Peter Savini has been named vice president for revenue cycle for Catholic Health Services (CHS). For the past year, Savini has been working with CHS as a consultant on the development of a comprehensive revenue cycle process.
Savini is an accomplished health care executive with more 25 years’ experience in revenue cycle management. Prior to CHS, he was a revenue cycle leader for one of the largest health systems in the United States with an extensive background in revenue cycle management, process improvement and optimization. He is well versed in health care finance, including the redesign of revenue cycle management core functions for several major health care providers and systems across the country.

Highly regarded for his financial acumen, Savini provided overall management of the patient access, health information management and the patient financial services areas for nine hospitals in the Franciscan Health Systems East region. Most recently, he served as a vice president for revenue cycle management on the finance team responsible for revenue cycle management functions for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) in Denver. CHI is a health system of approximately 75 hospitals with annual revenues of approximately $8 billion.
Savini, who earned his BA from Villanova and his master’s in health administration from Widener University, resides in West Chester, PA, with his wife, Susan, and their three children.
