“God’s Plan for Growing Up” taught from the Catholic perspective, this event will focus on growing up, appreciating the female gift of fertility and healthy self-esteem for girls ages 10 -12, 13 -15 and their mothers. It is with great enthusiasm that I write to you inviting all volunteers and staff involved in marriage preparation on the diocesan and parish level to the 3rd Annual Summer Workshop series and FOCCUS training.

This year’s workshop will be a refresher course for experienced facilitators and training for new facilitators. Workshops will address how to prepare presentations for engaged couples and what components are included in a comprehensive marriage preparation program. Please check the attached flyers for specific information and registration forms.

On June 10th there will be a FOCCUS training session from 7:00-10:00 PM. The Summer Workshop Series will begin on June 17th from 7:30-9:00 PM. The courses will be held on Tuesday evenings at Our Lady of Lourdes in West Islip.

Please publish this information in your parish bulletins and share it with members of your parish Pre-Cana teams. Attached are the flyers in pdf format and jpeg files to use in your bulletin.
