MISSION OF THE APOSTOLATE (English)
The Haitian-American Apostolate is a Ministry of the Diocese of Rockville Centre established to respond to the pastoral needs of the Haitian-American Catholic Community on Long Island.
The mission of the Haitian-American Apostolate Ministry is to help the Haitian-American Catholic Community in the Diocese of Rockville Centre to live their lives in the Catholic Faith as per Vatican II Council in accordance to their own worship and culture in their native language and to acquaint the withCatholic Community with the gifts brought to the Church by the Haitian-American Catholics. The main purpose of The Haitian-American Apostolate is to ensure the Evangelization of the Haitian-American Catholic Community and Haitian-American Community at large while working toward their integration in the life of the Church at the Parish and at Diocesan levels.

LA MISSION DE L’APOSTOLAT (French)
L’Apostolat Haïtiano-Américain est un Ministère du Diocèse de Rockville Centre ayant pour but principal de répondre aux besoins pastoraux de la Communauté Haïtiano-Américaine Catholique de Long Island. La Mission de l’Apostolat Haïtiano-Américain du Diocèse de Rockville Centre est d’aider la Communauté Haïtiano-Américaine Catholique à vivre sa foi chrétienne, selon les directives du IIème Concile du Vatican, de préserver dans les rites et la prière l’héritage de leur culture et de leur langue natale; de partager avec la communauté catholique tout entière les dons que les Haïtiens-Américains apportent à l`Église. La mission principale de l’Apostolat Haïtiano-Américain est de guarantir l’Évangélisation de la Communauté Haïtiano-Américaine Catholique de Long Island tout en travaillant à son intégration dans les paroisses et dans le diocèse.
