WHAT: Relics of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Visits 8 Parishes in the Diocese of Rockville Centre / Miracles of the Eucharist on Display
A first class relic of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque will be venerated from August 16 – August 23, 2010 at eight parishes throughout Long Island. In addition, the Vatican exhibit on 40 of the 121 Miracles of the Eucharist will be on display at each of the sites.
Sr. Margaret Mary Alacoque was born in a small village in France in 1647. Because of her, millions of people around the world have become devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
August 16 – St. Agnes Cathedral, Rockville Centre from 2 – 8 p.m. Maria Alessia miracle story and Fr. Moray will speak. Archbishop Zygmunt Zimowski will be in the Cathedral from 6-8 p.m
August 17 – Sacred Heart Parish, Island Park from 2 – 8 p.m.
August 18 – St. Aidan Parish, Williston Park from 2 - 8 p.m. Mass held at 5:30 p.m.
August 19 – St Ignatius Retreat House, Manhasset from 2 – 8 p.m. Healing Mass concelebrated by priests of the retreat house at 7:00 p.m.
August 20 – Sts Philip and St. James Parish, St. James from 2 – 8 p.m.
August 21 – Cure of Ars Parish, Merrick from 2 – 8 p.m. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament (2pm-4:45p.m. Evening Mass at 5 p.m.; Benediction at 8 pm.)
August 22 – Shrine of Our Lady of the Island, Manorville from 2 – 8 p.m.
August 23 – St. Rosalie Parish, Hampton Bays from 2 – 8 p.m. Bishop Libasci will say the concluding Mass here at 7 p.m.
