West Islip, NY 11795 – On Wednesday, November 11, 2011, Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center celebrated all their veteran residents. A special breakfast, prepared by Dietary Department, was held to honor these 50 special individuals. As special guests, members of the West Islip American Legion Post 1738 greeted the residents and exchanged stories. Everyone enjoyed themselves honoring these brave individuals who served our country so proudly.

Our Lady of Consolation is a 450-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Dominic since 1894 and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
