WHAT: The Tomorrow’s Hope Foundation will be conducting its 4th annual “Laps for Learning” walk/bike-a-thon that raises money for the Children’s Scholarship Fund. Laps-for-Learning is a family-fun event held at Cedar Creek County Park, Seaford, NY.
The walk/bike-a-thon consists of a 1-mile walk, 2-mile ride and a 4-mile ride.
All participants will receive a delicious lunch generously donated by the New York State Councils of the Knights of Columbus. In addition, each participant will receive a free t-shirt to commemorate the event.
Raffle chances, face painting, balloons, live DJ music and many more fun activities promise to round out a perfect day at the park with family and friends.
All riders/walkers who raise $200 or more in pledges will be entered into a special drawing to win a laptop computer.
COST: $10 registration fee per participant. On site registration is $20. Corporate sponsorship opportunities ranging from $100-$5,000.
WHEN: Saturday, September 26, 2009. Registration begins at 9:00 AM. Event begins at 10 AM rain or shine.
