WHO:▪Khoa Lê, 32, was born and raised in Vietnam. Born in Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) Deacon Lê, a licensed architect, and his family came to America in 1994. He was sponsored by his oldest brother who years earlier, escaped the Communist regime and migrated to the U.S. Deacon Lê was inspired by his parish priest in Saigon for the courage to bring people to the Church and teach people about Jesus despite pressure from the oppressive government. Deacon Lê attended St. John’s University, Queens, NY and in 2001, he entered the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington.

▪Henry Reid, 37, attended his parish school, Infant Jesus in Port Jefferson and graduated from Comseqogue High School in 1987. In subsequent years, Deacon Reid attended Suffolk Community College and worked in construction, bartending and as a bouncer in New York City and Los Angeles. He graduated from SUNY-Albany with a master’s degree focusing on Irish political history. He traveled to Belfast for research and lived there for about one year. After he returned to the U.S., he taught history at Suffolk Community College and gave thought to his vocation and eventually entered Cathedral Seminary Residence. Five years ago, he entered the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception.
 
  
DIRECTIONS:Take Southern State Parkway to Peninsula Blvd. south exit. Take Peninsula Blvd. south until Lakeview Rd. Make a left onto Lakeview Rd. Turn right onto North Village Ave. Make a left onto Quealy Place. St. Agnes Cathedral is on the left. Parking is available across the street from the Cathedral.
