As a part of our ongoing effort to secure committed suppliers to enhance our buying power, we have identified a vendor for all of our cleaning / janitorial supplies for the Diocese of Rockville Centre: American Paper and Supply Company (APSCO).

APSCO is a full-line distributor carrying thousands of products from paper towels, toilet tissue, to plastic bags, mops, buckets, waste receptacles, entrance matting, and ice melting compounds.

As part our on-going cost savings program, APSCO has agreed to provide the Diocese of Rockville Centre with aggressive preferred pricing on the most frequently ordered (Top 150) maintenance/janitorial supply items (see pricing list). In addition, APSCO has created a dedicated email address to provide help in responding to any of your questions or to place orders: customerDRVC@APSjansan.com.

As is the case with any of our preferred vendors, the success of this program is based on using our collective buying power to reduce supply costs while improving service levels. APSCO is committed not only to providing us with aggressive pricing but also the resources necessary to make the program a resounding success.  We are excited to work with APSCO on this new business initiative and are confident that this business arrangement will serve to benefit all parties moving forward.

What does this mean to you?  

First and foremost it means that you will receive the exceptional pricing that could only be achieved by combining our purchasing power. But the advantages don’t end with terrific pricing because we will also receive outstanding service and customer support. If you have any “cleaning related” or “lighting issues” that have been nagging you we can help to resolve them…just let us know.

What do you need to do?  

Simply allow us to set up an appointment with the business manager and/or maintenance manager of the facility. After that we will meet with you to determine what supplies you currently purchase and with that information we will develop a cross-comparison sheet, with prices, for you to determine if our costs (for the total “bundle of goods purchased” not just one item) match up favorably to what you’ve been paying.

How do you place an order? 

To begin we’ll make a visit to your location to better understand your specific needs (delivery specifics, how often you’d like to see a salesperson, how you are accustomed to placing orders etc.), from this we will establish an account for you. After this we will discuss whether you’d prefer to enter orders via telephone, fax or online. If you’d like to place your orders online (which we strongly recommend for all of the other information that you can also access once you log into our website) we’ll show you the demonstration site on a computer to explain how easy it is to place an order 24hrs/day, 7days/week. Also, if online ordering is chosen, we will establish a customized online shopping list which displays only those items that your specific facility purchases…which will make placing the order that much quicker.

Program Highlights:

  •  “Top 150” list of items/prices has been established with “Top 10” having been given extra special emphasis with “bare bones” pricing. Pricing to be provided by salesperson at first appointment.
  • $500 rebate to each new entity that joins the program when $1000 is spent as long as the facility is current in its account with APSCO.
  • Monthly e-mail specials for each new month will be sent to each location (that we have been given the e-mail address for) the week before each new month that they will apply to.
  • Dedicated key Account Manager and Customer Service rep to ensure all your ordering and service-related issues are addressed in a timely manner and that all necessary parties are “in the loop”.
  • No charge restroom dispenser program available…including installation. This can be a great way to provide a new look/upgrade the washrooms while spending virtually nothing to do so.
