My Heart” Bereavement Conference

Sponsored by: Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of
Rockville Centre. For the bereaved and those
ministering to them - All faiths welcome. Workshops
include lecture and question period.
Sharing Sessions offer small group discussion led by
professional facilitator.

A
Keynote Address, “Grief, Loss and Mourning: A Journey
of the Heart” by Catherine O’Connor, C.S.B., Ph.D.
(National and international leader in development of
Catholic healthcare organizations, many years counseling
the bereaved, working in chaplaincy, supervising CPE
students, and teaching about Death and Dying).
There
will also be a Bookstore throughout the day and the day
will end with a closing Mass.
