WHAT: |
The Most Reverend William Murphy, S.T.D., L.H.D., Bishop
of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, will present grants
to eleven organizations at the annual Catholic Campaign
for Human Development ceremony sponsored by Catholic
Charities. The awards totaling $127,500 will help these
groups continue their work with poor and low-income
people on Long Island.
The recipients are:
Farmingdale Citizens for Viable Solutions
Harrison Hale Community Action Center
Huntington Youth Bureau (for Project Sanctuary)
L. I. Congregations, Associations, and Neighborhoods
L. I. Organizing Network
Long Beach Latino Civic Association
Mary & Elizabeth Center
North Fork Spanish Apostolate
Safe Harbor Mentoring Program
South Country Community Conference
Unified New Cassel Community Organizing Corporation |

right; follow curve. Holy Trinity High School will be on
your left. Catholic
Charities parking lot is the first left after the
school.
From Long Island Expressway – Exit at Route
106/107, exit 41S. Take Route 106/107 south to fork in
road. Take right fork. Continue on Newbridge Road to
Barter Lane. Make a left onto Barter Lane. Take Barter
Lane to first stop sign. At stop sign, make left and
continue to first stop sign. At stop sign, make left.
Road curves to right; follow curve. Holy Trinity High
School will be on your left. Catholic Charities parking
lot is the first left after the school.
From Northern State Parkway – Exit at Route
106/107, exit 35S. Take Route 106/107 south to fork in
road. Take right fork and continue on Newbridge Road to
Barter Lane. Make a left onto Barter Lane. Take Barter
Lane to first stop sign. At stop sign, make left and
continue to first stop sign. At stop sign, make left.
Road curves to right; follow curve. Holy Trinity High
