“Listen to What Your
Kids Aren’t Telling You”
A Presentation by Michael Pritchard
|
Rockville Centre, New York,
October 4, 2006 – Michael Pritchard, a nationally
acclaimed motivator and educator, will give a presentation at
St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School on October 19, 2006
at 7:30 p.m. With a background in counseling and comedy,
Pritchard’s unique style utilizes humorous stories and useful
tools to educate his audiences on improving communication
skills.

Along with a guest appearance on an Emmy Award winning episode
of “Taxi,” Pritchard’s exciting standup comedy billed him with
comedians such as Robin Williams and Jerry Seinfeld and
playing venues such as Caesar’s, the Comedy Store, and the
Universal Amphitheater. However, Michael rejected offers from
Hollywood to focus on using his comic talents for inspiring
youth and adults.
As a result of his work, Pritchard has been featured on CNN,
“The Today Show,” “The Tonight Show,” Time magazine and People
magazine. His seven educational series for PBS include “The
Power of Choice,” “You can Choose,” “Big Changes, Big
Choices,” and “Peace Talks” all of which focus on youth
guidance in the areas of violence prevention and teaching
students to make positive choices.
Messages proclaimed by Pritchard, like those in another series
entitled “SOS: Saving Our Schools from Hate and Violence,”
filmed after the tragic Columbine disaster, have become more
essential in wake of the recent wave of school shootings
across America.
Pritchard recently received a Doctorate of Human Letters from
Hartwick University for a lifetime of work inspiring and
motivating children and parents across the nation.
