JOINT STATEMENT ON MEETING BETWEEN VOICE OF THE
FAITHFUL AND THE DIOCESE
May 14, 2004
Five representatives from the Diocese of Rockville Centre met
with five representatives of the Long Island Chapter of Voice
of the Faithful at a facility of the Sisters of St. Joseph in
Brentwood last evening. The following joint statement was
released after the meeting."We had a candid and fruitful
exchange of ideas. There was much discussion of the different
perceptions each group had of the other. There was a
commitment made to continue our discussions and dialogue on
specific issues at future meetings."
