Opening Mass for the New School Year

Bishop John Barres was the principal celebrant of the opening Mass for the Department of Education and Catholic Elementary School teachers held at the St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip. Father Matthew Browne, and Father Eric Fasano concelebrated.

Catholic Schools Open Doors to Students for the 2023-2024 School Year

With temperatures in the low to mid-90s, many students headed back to class in the 35 elementary and 9 high schools within the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Here students begin their first day at Our Lady of Victory School in Floral Park.
