WHAT: | The Cornerstone Conference 2007 Parish staff and volunteers, as well as anyone interested in family relationships and support groups for singles, separated, divorced and widowed, are invited to attend the first annual family ministry conference, where a “family perspective” will be applied to faith formation. Bishop William Murphy will begin the day with the celebration of Mass Participants will be able to register for such workshops as The Digital Revolution and Your Kids; Single Parents and Stress; Faith Formation for Older Adults and Raising Faith-Filled Kids. Other topics will include baptism and marriage preparation. Three workshops will be offered in Spanish and one will be offered in American Sign Language. |
WHO: | Dr. John Grabowski, associate professor of moral theology at the Catholic University of America, Washington, will deliver the keynote speech, “Spirituality for Families in the 21st Century.” |

About The Diocese of Rockville Centre The Diocese of Rockville Centre was formed in 1957 and covers 1,222 square miles in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The diocese serves approximately 1.4 million Catholics (total population in both counties is approximately 3.3 million). There are 134 parishes in 115 towns.
