Congratulations to Junior Miah Margiano from Saint Anthony’s High School. Her cancer research project was one of only 20 Long Island projects selected to compete in the International Science and Engineering Fair in Atlanta, Georgia. After several intensive rounds of judging, she finished third in the world in the category of Cellular and Molecular Biology. On Wednesday, May 18 Wednesday, Miah Margiano and another St. Anthony’s student, Anthony Martin, competed in the finals of the NSPC Health Sciences Competition. Anthony took home $500 and Miah finished second in her category and won $4000!
