Sayville, NY 11782 – On Wednesday, May 4, 2011, Good Samaritan Nursing Home, located at 101 Elm Street, Sayville hosted their first sold-out event a “Taste of Sayville”. The evening was a huge success with over 200 guests dining on deliciously prepared food by local Sayville restaurants as well as the local vineyard. Butera’s, Café Joelle, Crickets, The Cull House, LaTavola, Bistro 25, Sayville Inn, 5 Points Café, 21 Main, Stop & Shop, American Cheese and Loughlin Vineyards generously donated their time and talents to Good Samaritan Nursing Home to make this event a success.  Kay Porter, local resident of Sayville, was also instrumental in the success of this event. The residents, family members and community had their appetites fulfilled and left happy and satisfied.    “This is the first time we have hosted this type of event and are so pleased to see it succeed.  We look forward to doing more in the future”, stated Teri Cronin, Administrator.
