EUCHARISTIC PILGRIMSGES

General Notes

  • All times are approximated, given that Mass times can vary slightly as can the pace of walking.
  • ALL Outdoor Activities are subject to weather, this document will be updated if needed.
  • Please think ahead and use carpooling or public transit when possible. The Pilgrimage will not provide transportation back to the start.
  • Please bring water and sturdy shoes.
  • If you are unable to walk, please stay in the church and pray – we need good prayers.
  • There will be no entrance into school buildings. Benedictions will take place outside High Schools or in Churches.
  • Please obey all instructions issued by Priests or law enforcement assisting.

Saturday, May 31st

Nassau County

St. Agnes Cathedral to St. Christopher Baldwin

5:00 pm Mass at St. Agnes Cathedral
6:00 pm Procession Begins
6:00 pm – 7:15 pm along Merrick Rd ~ 2 miles
7:30 pm Benediction
7:30 pm The blessed sacrament will depart via bus

Note: There will be a 8:00 pm Revival night at Our Holy Redeemer in Freeport

Parking: Parking is available in St. Agnes Lot, there is also parking available in St. Christopher, Baldwin

Suffolk County

St. Therese of Lisieux, Montauk, Our Lady of Poland to Basilica, Southampton

10:00 am Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux, Montauk
11:00 am Procession around Montauk ~ 1 mile
12:00 pm Benediction (the blessed sacrament will then be driven west for the evening Mass)
5:00 pm Mass at Our Lady of Poland, Southampton
6:00 pm Procession begins
6:00 pm – 6:45 pm Walk from Our Lady of Poland along Main Street to Basilica ~1 mile
7:00 pm Revival Night and Holy Hour Begin at the Basilican of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Cure of Ars to St. Barnabas, St. Barnabas to St. William

7:30 am Mass at Cure of Ars, Merrick
8:30 am Procession Begins
8:30 am – 9:30 am Walk from Cure Ars along Sunrise to St. Barnabas ~2 miles
9:45 am Benediction
10:30 am Mass at St. Barnabas
11: 40 am Walk from St. Barnabas along Sunrise to St. William the Abbot ~2.2 miles
12: 40 pm Arrive at St. William
1:15 pm Benediction

Parking: Parking is available in both Parish Lots, use of the LIRR is especially beneficial.

St. Isadore, Riverhead to St. John the Evangelist, Riverhead

10:30 am Polish Mass at St. Isadore, Riverhead
11:30 am Procession Begins
11:30 am – 11: 45 am Walk from St. Isadore along Pulaski St. to St. John the Evangelist ~ .75 miles
12:00 noon – Benediction

8:30 am – 9:45 am Walk up Newbridge Road ~ 3.1 miles
9:45 am Benediction at the front of Holy Trinity High School
9:50 am Departure

Parking: Parking is available in St. Raphael’s Lot; there is also parking available in Holy Family, Hicksville, a two block walk from Holy Trinity High School

Tuesday, June 3

Suffolk County

St. Philip and James, St. James to St. Patrick Smithtown

10:45 am Gather in Church
11: 00 am Procession Begins
11:00 am – 12:15 pm Walk to Smithtown ~2.7 miles
12:15 pm Benediction in St. Patrick Church
12:30 pm Departure

Wednesday, June 4

Corpus Christi, Mineola

7:30 am Morning Mass at Corpus Christi, Mineola
8: 15 – 8:45 am Eucharistic Adoration

8:45 am – 9:00 am Walk to Chaminade ~ 0.5 miles
9:00 am Benediction & Departure

Parking: Please note, there is no parking at Chaminade; pilgrims can either park at the parish or use public transit.

Thursday, June 5

St. John of God, Central Islip to St. Anne, Brentwood

5:00 pm Prayer in St. John of God
6:00 pm Procession Begins
6:00 pm – 6:45 pm Walk to St. Anne, Brentwood
7:00 pm Revival Night at St. Anne Begins

Friday, June 6

Nassau County

St. Gertrude, Bayville to St. Dominic, Oyster Bay

8:30 am Morning Mass at St. Gertrude, Bayville
9: 30 am Procession Begins
9:30 am – 10: 30 am Walk to St. Dominics ~4 miles
10: 45 am – Benediction at St. Dominic Chapel
11:00 am Departure

Saturday, June 7

St. Hugh of Lincoln: Arrival of the two Routes

Between 8:00 – 8:15 am the two pilgrim routes will arrive at the parish from the East and West coming through the north parish parking lot to the Main doors of the Church.
People may wish to wait outside to welcome the two routes and the Blessed Sacrament

Closing Mass en espanol
8:30 am a closing Mass for the pilgrimage
After the Mass, the Blessed Sacrament will be driven to Huntington

Arrival of the Pilgrimage to St. Patrick Huntington
At approximately 11:00 am the Blessed Sacrament will process down Main St. to the doors of St. Patrick Church.
11:30 am – preaching and final prayers are offered inside St. Patrick Church
12:00 noon Benediction offered.
